Engineered Arts designs and manufactures expressive humanoid robots. It was founded in 2004 by Will Jackson and is based in Falmouth, Cornwall, in the United Kingdom. Its products include Ameca, a humanoid platform for human-robot interaction first shown at CES in January 2022, and earlier robots such as RoboThespian, SociBot and Mesmer. Robots are sold by quote and rented for events. In December 2024 the company announced that it had restructured as a US entity, planned to expand at a Redwood City, California, location, and had deployed robots to more than 200 locations worldwide.
